Many of you come to us to help you feel better. You are vulnerable with us and share your health history and conditions, various treatments and trials. Today I’d like to share with you a bit about my health journey and what led Emily and me to decide to make LifeWave products available to you through Theta Massage and Bodywork.

I’ve lived the majority of my life with a disc herniation. Using several wellness practices, including massage therapy, I was able to live a pretty functional life. Sure, I still had low back pain from time to time when I’d push my limits but nothing debilitating. Soon after we moved to Vermont to start up Theta Massage I suffered a terrible fall. That changed the condition of my back to become less manageable and ultimately required emergency surgery after my disc became extruded, putting unbearable pressure on my L5 nerve to the point that I lost function of my right leg.

The surgery had some complication because of the size of the disc matter that was extruded. My spinal cord was torn when they removed the disc. This caused a spinal fluid leak that was thankfully rectified by five days of total bed rest, laying flat on my back. As you can imagine, this experience was pretty terrifying. I was only 34 and in year two of running our small business. I was fortunate to have an incredible medical staff as well as a supportive community of family, clients, and loved ones to help me recover. Despite the excellent care I received, I was still in pain and felt physically limited even a year after surgery. Ultimately I was just thankful to be able to work and get through normal activities of daily living.

I continued to seek out any holistic treatment, therapy and advice I could find. Part of that included being introduced to LifeWave. It's been the biggest game changer yet to restoring my health. I noticed a difference within the first day and now, a several months later, I’m able to do things I never thought I would be able to do again, especially pain free. Emily noticed much more subtle changes like mental clarity and as time progressed wearing the patches, less general aches and pains. I know everyone's body is unique but since this product has had such a positive impact on my life, I feel obligated to share it with anyone who is willing to listen. Every day at least once I hear something  like “it’s just aging” or “there isn't anything that can help.” I decided to become a LifeWave distributor, not only because I know I’m going to be a customer for life, but because I believe so many others could benefit too.
